To those who think going to the big Lord of the Rings complete trilogy screening on 12/16 is mad...

I'm actually a little surprised that they didn't expect the tickets to move so quickly. LotR has built quite a following, and I didn't have New Line as the sort of company who would underestimate that.

I suspect some of the "surprise" is just aw-shucks PR, actually.

I hate to break it to you Jack, but contrary to popular opinion, just because a whole lot of people do a crazy thing doesn't make it NOT crazy!
While I do hope that everybody enjoys themselves, I don't need to see it THAT badly...

As much as I'd love to see theentire trilogy on the big screen, I just can't spare 12 hours. I think I'd be more comfortable at home anyway! :)
